Won Bass, FLW, ISE,Filming = busy February

Well February was certainly a busy month for me! Starting off with the Won Bass pro am I finished in 34th place. It wasn't the start I was looking for in the first southern event but I managed to redeem my self with a top ten cut and finishing in 8th place in the FLW. The baits of choice were nail rigged senkos with two different size weights. I want to give a special thanks to my good friend Jay Pennington owner of canyon plastics for bringing down his motor home and letting us stay with him for 12 days. After the fishing my good friends Mike, Tami and Chris spent a few days unwinding at my house and headed back up to Roosevelt to do some filming. Tami Curtis and I spent the day catching fish and getting some great footage. I am excited to see how it turns out.
This year the 2011 ISE show was held at the University of Phoenix stadium and I was asked to do the tank demonstration on two different days. I gave a talk about top water techniques and introducing the Clear Series baits from Lobina Lures. Thanks to Kent Brown I had a great time and was able to teach some new anglers a thing or two about our desert lakes and how to fish them.
With all that being said I am looking forward to Havasu and getting a top 10 finish. I have a couple things in the works that I can't mention yet but stay tuned to the next blog to find out.
